Data center
A data center is a physical facility that hosts servers, storage systems, network equipment, and other digital resources. It's where Aruba Cloud manages and protects your data, ensuring high performance, security, and service continuity.
Each data center is designed to guarantee:
- stable and fast connectivity, thanks to advanced network infrastructures;
- physical and digital security, with continuous access and data controls;
- reliability, thanks to redundant systems and backup power supplies;
- scalability, so you can easily expand your services over time.
Aruba Cloud has data centers distributed across Europe, both owned and through partnerships, each integrated within a Region and, in some cases, divided into multiple Zones.
Region
A Region is a geographical location that includes one or more Zones interconnected by low-latency, redundant networks. Each Region is completely independent from each other and does not share any environmental risks (seismic, weather or water-related).
Zone
Each Zone represents an area of service deployment, independent from the other Zones in their Region, but connected between themselves with high-performance, low-latency, redundant networks, to facilitate synchronized data replication. Zones do not share physical infrastructure, such as Data Centers, servers, network devices, etc. and are therefore not affected by failures occurring in other Zones in the Region.
